EcoTech Landscaping was founded in 2001 by Chris Evans. Chris is a 2000 graduate of the University of Hull. He has been gardening and landscaping professionally since he was sixteen years old. He is a Certified Horticulturist, Licensed Pesticide Applicator, Licensed Arborist, ICPI certified Concrete Paver Installer, and Licensed Equipment Operator.
Nigel Marsh joined EcoTech as a business partner in 2002. Chris and Nigel have been friends since meeting in school, and share many fond memories of growing up in the Midlands, UK. Nigel graduated from De Montfort University in 1999 with a degree in Biology. He has studied Landscape Design at college. Nigel is also a a Licensed Pesticide Applicator and ICPI certified Paver Installer. He has over fifteen years experience in gardening and landscape construction.
We started EcoTech Landscaping as a fine gardening service. Over the next three years we added full property maintenance, including tree and shrub care, lawn care, and pest management. We gained a reputation for providing meticulous care and personalized customer service. In recent years, we’ve continued to grow the landscape maintenance side of the business, focusing on providing exceptional care for a relatively small number of high-end properties. We also began offering landscape construction services. EcoTech Landscaping now provides a full range of construction services, from planting to hardscape, installing their own designs as well as those of landscape architects and designers with whom they partner regularly.
The landscape design process is tailored to meet each client’s individual needs and style. Whether you need a master plan for a new home, a redesign after a renovation, or just want to create a unique space or feature, we will work with you to get the best out of your property and your budget.

The construction of a quality landscape begins below the surface. The keys to the long term success of your new landscape are the parts of the project that you DON’T see – soil preparation before planting, base preparation for your new patio or retaining wall, etc. If these steps are not done properly, a job that looks spectacular the day it is finished will be failing a year or two later. Unfortunately, because you can’t see them, these are also the easiest places to cut corners. Whether working with an outside landscape architect or installing our own design, you can rest assured that your project will be planned and executed using best practices to ensure that it stays beautiful and functional for many years.
